Blur's In Photoshop

MOTION BLUR I firstly dragged the background layer down to the create new layer option in the layer palette. I then double clicked on the background layer and then turned it into a layer. I then went to 'Filter', 'Blur' and then 'Motion Blur'. This then bought up a tab which allowed me to change the amount of motion blur I was putting on the photo. It also allowed me to change the angle of the motion blur. Once that was done, I dragged the background copy layer to apply the mask option. I then used the rubber tool to rub out the car in which i wanted the motion blur to show through the mask. I then flattened the image so that the layers came together. Below is my original image and my final motion blur image. LENS BLUR Firstly, I dragged the background layer to the create new layer option. I then double clicked on the bottom layer named background which enabled me to turn this background layer into a no

Multiplicity In Photoshop

Multiplicity in photography is the process of taking multiple photographs of humans, objects or animals in different areas of the frame, and then combining these photographs in photoshop. Below are some good examples of multiplicity photographs. http://easthsdigitalphoto.weebly.com/what-are-we-doing-today.html http://www.positive-magazine.com/world-of-one/ https://www.ormsdirect.co.za/blog/2015/05/11/creating-action-sequences-in-photoshop/ I created my own multiplicity photograph by experimenting on photoshop, through masking in the layers palette. Firstly, I set up my camera making sure it was secure on top of a sturdy tripod so that there was no unnecessary camera movement. I then got the main subject to do a specific action in different locations in the frame for every different photograph that I took. I tried to link all the shots that I took of the subject by making them perfo

Hyper-Lapse

I created my hyper-lapse by placing my camera carefully on top of a tripod. I then positioned the tripod which had my camera on the edge of a pavement so that my main subject was positioned centrally in the frame. Next, I took a shot of the subject standing still on the curb of the pavement and every time I took a shot, I tracked backward whilst the subject moved forwards. I created the final video (hyper-lapse) by putting all the photos that I took into one folder. I then opened Photoshop. Once Photoshop was opened, I went to into the "File" menu and then clicked on "Open".   Once I had done that, I Navigated to the folder where all the photos were. I selected the first photo that I took.  Once the Photo has opened in photoshop, I went to the "Dialogue Box" and then clicked on "Image Sequence" By clicking "Open", it will import the photos into a time-lapse video fi

Stitching/Panorama

I created a stitched (photo merge) image by taking many photographs which overlap very slightly in order to produce a final panoramic image. I began by opening photoshop and going to the "File" menu and then "Automate" and then clicking on "Photomerge". By doing this, it opens up a tab which allows me to change what sort of photo merge I am going to produce and it also allows me to browse the files that I would like to use for the photo merge. I then browsed through my files to find the exact files that I wanted to use. Once I clicked open, it layered and merged the photos together into one final panoramic image. Once the final image was created I flattened the image by hovering over the "Layer" and then clicked on "Flatten Image" which brought all the layer into one. Below are my 2 final panoramic images that I created. The 2 final images above are underexposed so when I create a panoram

Description/Analysis

Description: My photograph (above) shows a hustling and bustling bunch of people walking in multiple directions at Covent Gardens in London. This photograph also shows a light leak on the left side of the photograph. Analysis: My photograph (above) was shot on 35mm colour film with the aperture at f11 and with a fast shutter speed freezing any motion. The light leak on the left was created by small amounts of light leaking in from a hole or gap in the body of my camera.
